Overview
MediSync coordinates appointments, patient records, and follow-up reminders across a network of small clinics. Staff were juggling spreadsheets and phone calls; missed follow-ups were routine.
I designed role-based dashboards for reception, practitioners, and admins on Vue.js, with a MongoDB model shaped around real scheduling workflows — not around what was convenient to store.
Challenge
Healthcare software fails when it slows staff down. Every screen had to be learnable in minutes, work on aging clinic hardware, and keep strict role boundaries around sensitive records.
Approach
Two days of on-site shadowing before any design, then clickable prototypes tested with actual receptionists. The data model versions every record change, so audits and corrections are straightforward.
